If you want to see only the footprints are left behind in a natural preserve area the best time to see would be when there is snow on the ground :) Now how about you couple that with some great light. I am a total sucker for the first light of the day when the sun just peeks over the horizon. The transition between the bluehour and the golden hour is an absolute beauty which sometimes we cannot see with our own eyes but if exposed properly the camera can take some wonderful pictures. This is shot from a single RAW file. I increased the clarity in Lightroom and then exposrted in Photoshop to remove some noise in the sky, duplicated the layer and changed to Overlay to get some rich tones on the sky. Then used High pass filter to sharpen the footprints to increase the texture.

Lulu

Lulu is a female chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes) who arrived at Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre in the year 2000 and it is estimated that she was born during 1992. She was born in a circus travelling through Cyprus when her mother attacked her and bit her arm. Lulu’s arm became infected and a Cypriot family saved her life by taking her home and getting their doctor to amputate the poisonous limb. She gets along very well without her right arm, so much so that most people do not realise that she is missing the arm!

Hi, this is a photo from last year Super Full Moon event which I "forgot" to upload. I just found it in my archive and I wanted to share it with you.

The location is Rome, and this plane is going to land at the Ciampino Airport, flying over the Castelli Romani (volcanic origins).
