She's a bit annoyed by the camera clicking in front of her while she just wants to sleep. So just a moody headshot of my tough girl.. ;)

Ninety five percent of the time, I keep my camera setting on manual. And Ninety five percent of the time I forget to set something before shooting. I stressed for an hour over the settings before finally feeling happy about them. I ran outside and snapped about 100 photos!
Imagine my surprise when I uploaded them to the computer and they all came out looking like this! I couldn't believe I had been holding the camera BACKWARDS all morning!!!
Atleast the settings were correct
PS. I was so stressed my brains leaked. :)

You're awesome for being able to participate on such short notice Rachel! Thank you!

PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY THURSDAYS
My wife and I joke about Shakira's song "The Torture" because it sounds pretty much like "Turtle" (even in Spanish "Tortura" and "Tortuga" sound similar), so when I gave her this turtle from the movie "Finding Nemo" we decided unanimously to call it "Shakira" hehehe
Thanks for sharing this with us in the Portrait Thursdays theme. Cute!

STREET PHOTOGRAPHY WEDNESDAYS
As you're probably aware, tensions rose during the government spending cuts demonstations in London in March. As angry protesters started jostling towards police lines, the officers had no choice other than to push people back and demand they stay away. This particular demonstrator got a right ticking off from this riot policeman.

A shot taken to test settings prior to heading out and shooting daffs in the dark (!). It wasn't meant to be a keeper, but I love it.
Gerard Jones (dedrot)
Glad you decided this was a keeper Gerard. Beautiful image! Thanks for sharing this with us in the Monochrome Mondays theme.
