Weekend Showcase
The drizzle stopped, the sun made a brief appearance, then it began to snow. This was our New Years Day walk along the edge of the Roaches in the Peak District. From the ridge line of the Roaches, there is a spectacular view across the Dane Valley towards Cheshire in the west. Tittesworth Reservoir can be seen to the far left of the shot. This is a panorama stitched from 8 portrait-orient shots.
