I was out to pursue photos of the Lyrid Meteor Shower, but I was treated to something even better: an active thunder storm forming from sunset into the night!

I originally shot this sunset to twilight storm to produce a timelapse video, which I've uploaded to YouTube: youtu.be/I8OEEhKlKzE?hd=1
The lightning starts about 1 minute into the video, and continues well into the night as the stars rise.
