Fantastic framing, wonderful B&W tones and great vignetting. An overall great composition and a real neglected antique which adds so much character.

take a look at the slideshow.
The colours are bright and clear, the textures superb and the shapes so pretty in this new take on a familiar subject. A photo that certainly stands out!

What a glorious range of colours in this breathtaking image. Definitely a sunset to make you stop in your tracks and reach for your camera!
Now, how like a fisherman to be so busy with his lines that he doesn't seem to notice the glorious sunset all around him! The oranges and yellows are so intense and the silhouettes lovely.

The golden tones and low pov of this portrait are beautiful. The Clarity of all his nooks and crannies is amazing. I keep thinking that "BronX" is going to jump right out and lick me...or maybe just drool a little. :-) Fabulous work - perfect model!
Congratulations, Johny Day!
The composition, the colors, the textures, the lighting, and the overall lightness of the feather so beautifully conveyed... Have I given enough reasons why this instantly became one of my favorites? I could look at it again and again and find more to enjoy each time. Sometimes, less really is more.

The light on the purple, the wonderful DOF and the gorgeous water droplets all combine to make this stunning image vibrant and lively!
This untouched reflection is incredibly detailed and so fascinating against the weathered pier planks. Definitely one to view large!

The black & white treatment adds so much to this reverent image and the human element adds to the story of the photo.
The drama of the warm red glow on the inside contrasts so nicely with the mundane browns/greys of the outside. I wonder what the sign invites you inside to?

What an appealing shot! The layout of the wonderful winding path and the lovely textures of the path and the greenery make this one a winner.

Sunday's PUDDLES Theme
What a grand reflection! There's so much to look at here...times two! I love how all the people carefully stand along the perimeters of the water.
Sunday's PUDDLES Theme
Almost an optical illusion, the spray and its reflection provide a ring around the "double" railing. Great timing and lighting - fascinating results!

Such a calm, peaceful and tranquil image. The silkiness of the water and the softness of the sky work so well with the lovely lighthouse.
