Eagle
This one caught my eye for a few reasons. The light and shadow is great and brings real emphasis to the head. The eye is wonderful, really translucent. The colours are rich and the focus sharp. The angle of the head is spot on too!

My first go at this Admin faves thing.
There have been so many great photos, but this one caught my eye. I guess it's the richness of the colours, the delicacy of the ironwork and the strength of the stone. It also involves light, shadows and a great use of exposure (I'm a sucker for all that).
